Weird, I had to add my eclipse directory (C:\Program Files\eclipse-SDK-3.3.1-win32\eclipse) to my system variables Path and Classpath (I just did both... probably not necessary), under Control Panel -> System -> Environment Variables (Windows XP) before I could update my subclipse...the software manager wasn't finding some core Eclipse classes - Thanks Alan Dix! |

So, I started a twittering a week ago and I didn't think I'd like it. I do like it.
What I like about it is: - It's an easy way to keep up to date on what friends are doing... at least twitter friends - and by that measurement, it looks like I have 2 friends
- It's a very easy-to-use publishing mechanism - I can publish on a web site, like raih.com, from a phone with a simple text message
- I find it fun to look at my history and see what I've been up to... looks like I might get to fly that kit this week
What I might like more, is being able to post to flickr from my cell phone... and then use that to feed a web site - again, like raih.com.
I think I'll try to tweak the CMS I'm using for raih.com to post links to twitter when I add them to the front page of the site... what's funny is that I have to be careful with recursion. |
